The price is, of course, an important factor in any camera decision. The listed launch prices provide an indication of the market segment that the manufacturer of the cameras have been targeting. The 6D Mark II was launched at a markedly lower price (by 71 percent) than the Leica SL3, which puts it into a different market segment. Many modern cameras cannot only take still pictures, but also record videos.
