Any camera decision will obviously take relative prices into account. The retail prices at the time of the camera’s release place the model in the market relative to other models in the producer’s line-up and the competition. The K-5 was launched at a somewhat lower price (by 15 percent) than the X-S20, which makes it more attractive for photographers on a tight budget. Many modern cameras cannot only take still pictures, but also record videos.
